Friday Free Stuff
Who doesn’t love free stuff? Whenever we are going out of town, I always Google “free stuff in ……..” You’d be surprised at how many things pop up. Of course, free is not always better. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stand in line for something just because it’s free, but it’s always nice to score a good deal. Here is a small sampling of free food and fun you might want to take advantage of this summer.

Always Free
Parks, libraries, and most trails are always free. We’ve been using the heck out out of all those this summer. Before planning an activity the costs money, check to see what free community events are taking place where you live. Why pay for fun if you don’t have to?
What’s the best free event you’ve been to recently? Have you ever stood in line to get something mediocre for free?
I like to attend the local universities’ music department’s concerts. I used to pay for season tickets to the symphony, but this is almost as good, and free!
There are tons of free and cheap things to do in college towns. That is something I miss living in the boonies.
I can’t believe that these are free especially the food section. Thank you for sharing this free stuff! I have a lot to do to enjoy those while it’s free.
My favorites are free classes through places like Coursera, Udemy, LA Public Library, Ed X…so great! I just wish I had more time to be a student more often! 🙂
