Trick or Treat Halloween Giveaway-3 Chances to Win Cash

halloween giveawayOctober might just be my favorite month. The weather is usually perfect, cool at night and warm in the day. The leaves are changing colors, and I get to carve pumpkins into Disney characters. (Well, that one might be the favorite of a certain six year old) I also get to pull out one of my Halloween costumes. I have three that I rotate, a Greek Goddess, a red and green polyester hippy costume, and my favorite, which is a long black wig with a cape. I really wish there were more occasions when I could wear a cape!

As far as money goes, you can really go crazy with buying costumes, decorations, and candy. However,  if you really want to save some cash, wait until October 31st. On Halloween day, stores usually mark their Halloween wares  down to half price. It might not work if you have to buy a little kid costume in advance, but I’ve gotten two of my three costumes this way, one even for 75% off. I also buy candy on Halloween day. Why pay full price if you don’t have to?

To help with your Halloween bill or whatever else you might need this month, some other bloggers and I are giving away some cash. Contest ends on October 31st. First prize is $360, second prize is $200, and third prize is $100. There are lots of ways to enter. Good luck!

  1. my favorite Halloween was win I was a little girl and my auntie did my makeup and dressed me like a cinderall. i got so much candy and thought I was the most beautiful girl in the world.

  2. My favorite Halloweens have certainly been since I have kids.. Just seeing their little faces light up with excitement to carve pumpkins, get dressed up, and plow through the neighborhood.. Tingles my heart every year.

  3. One of my favorite hallowens was when I was in my early 20’s and the state theater in detroit was having a huge hallowen party and the price was 4k. People didn’t just show up in costume, people showed up in parade floats. Some so big and unique that they had to almost stand in a corner the whole night. The costumes were incredible! Detroit always knew how to do Halloween right. Here in the south bay it’s just girls dressing up slutty. No imagination.

  4. When I was a teenager, I had a clown costume made. It was so awesome. What a great night. Everyone, wanted my costume.

  5. I think October is my favorite month as well. We’re looking forward to our first Halloween where our son is semi-aware of what’s going on. We’ll be going to a party with his play group, which should be a lot of fun.
