Make the Weekend Meaningful Roundup

I have had a very challenging week. I found out that the sale of my business is not going to be finished by the end of the year. I hit a deer with my car, and I’ve had to work more this week than I have in a  while.

Honestly, though, when I heard about the school shooting in Connecticut yesterday, it was almost to much to wrap my brain around . I have a daughter in kindergarten, and all I could think about was how special she is and how much my heart goes out to the parents of those precious, innocent victims. I’m sure I’ll be back in the swing of things next week, but for right now, Alexa and page rank don’t seem so important. I’m very thankful for all those who read, commented, and shared my posts this week. As for a link list, I’ll just tell everyone to forget reading this weekend and go spend some time with the ones you love.

Don’t forget to enter the Big Cash Giveaway at Modest Money or the giveaway for and iPad 3.

Eddie at Finance Fox is celebrating his second blogoversary and is also giving away an iPad.

Bible Money Matters is giving away $600.

Also, don’t forget the Red Kettle Challenge at Free Money Finance.

I did a guest post for The Debt Myth about Getting Out of Over $30,000 in Credit Card Debt

I was in one carnival.

The Money Mail Carnival-Sixth Edition

Thanks to all those who liked and shared my posts this week.

Mandy at Money Monster Mom’s guest post Do Your Purchases Reflect Your Values is still very popular according to  I Heart Budgets, One Smart Dollar,  and Planting Our Pennies

My post about loving your used car was a bonus article at the Frugal News Review.

How I Paid Off $30,000 in credit card debt is my most popular to date. It was # in the Monster Piggy Bank Pool Room and was shared by Canadian Budget Binder, Modest Money, Work Save Live, The Random Path, Finance Fox, Debt Roundup, Pelican on Money, Average Joe’s Money Blog, and Rather Be Shopping.

My post about health care changes if we fall off the fiscal cliff was mention at Reach Financial Independence, Fix Em Up Rent Em Out, and Frugal Rules

Fearless Men liked my post about December Goals

I will put one post out there for you to read. I think it sums up what I’m feeling today. It’s about what we want our legacy to say about us from Free at 33.

Have a great weekend and do something you enjoy!
