About Dairy Queen

They were able to convince a friend and loyal customer Sherb Noble to showcase and offer this formula in his personal store ice cream store that was located in Kankakee, Illinois. It was a surprise for McCullough and Alex that on the first day of sales the formula succeeded and bagged in 1600 servings within two hours. Things went uprising for McCullough and Alex and they started planning to open a store with Sherb Noble. It wasn’t long enough until McCullough and Noble opened the first Dairy Queen store in 1940 in Joliet, Illinois.
