Went to Academy to make an exchange on a pair of Justin boots but I did not find my size. I decided to make an exchange for a pair of Sperry Bruster’s and ran into some issues. The cashier was very kind and did her best to assist me. Even though I had tons of questions, she answered them all with a smile. I noticed I was holding up the line so I asked for her supervisor to help. The cashier all she could and her service was the best. I proceeded to speak with her supervisor and she very helpful. She kindly and very professionally showed me the problem and she was kind to help me with my issue. Never was she rude, pushy nor bossy. Her professional customer service skills were noticeable all the time. Thank you Griselda for your help. Your the best. I will definitely go back to shop at Academy Brownsville, TX.
DO NOT use the Academy to buy things anymore, they just stop giving a discount for veterans and we are getting the word out. How can you stop a program as important as this! Good going AS, it might as well be ASS, get ur s*%t together and get with the program

1 18 18 i went to temple tx store to buy boots. i have been shopping and buying boots from this store for over 10 years. the first pair of boots i wanted ,y’all did not have my size. the 2nd pair i looked at there was only 1 pair and that was the display. the 3rd pair i looked at y,all didn’t have my size. by the way i can wear nine and a half or 10. i ended up settling for a boot i didn’t like, because i had to be in a meeting. i like this store and will continue shopping there. please have someone check into this. thank you

i found what i needed at a great price and on sale.
Stopped by academy in Macon ga on my way home from work to pick up a thermometer for my deep fryer. Found just what I needed, great selection. Take it to the register to pay and there is about 7 people in line, only one register open. This is before 7 pm lots of shoppers in the store for them to have only one register. I get this alot at Walmart I don’t need this from Academy too.
Shopping at Academy Tulsa, OK 41st St. location on Veteran’s Day (actually the day before) Firearms Associate (Expert) Mike Brumbaugh helped me to decide on a 9mm pistol purchase. I was already set to purchase a S&W SD9 but was indecisive about the finish and sights that would suit me best. I could tell that Mike knew what he was talking about. After our conversation I purchased the pistol that best suited me. I also received a Veteran’s 10% discount because of the Veteran’s Day promotion! After the next few days I researched my selection and am verify happy with the choice I made…thanks to Mike!
