I just left the store on Nordoff and Reseda in Northridge. I was very upset at the empty shelves and price hicks. I spoke with Mike the mgr. and told him how I felt. He asked me if I used my just 4 u app. I explained that many employees had tried to install it (just as I had) with no success. He assured me he could do it for me. We both laughed when it did not work. He had a great idea…so he tried it. He entered my cell number NOT my home number. We laughed again but this time because it worked. He was very nice. You need more people like him to calm people like me down. Of course I could not fine the right place to put this in for the chance to win a gift card BUT at least I found a good employee. Mike is a keeper.
Just prior to Thanksgiving I was doing my final shopping trip at the Vons on El Camino Real. in Encinitas.
I shop there often but have only recently starting using the Von’s app and shopping list option. I am not finding it easy to navigate this app but your Check out cashier Eric was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and walked me through the process making my experience much more enjoyable in a very hectic day. I am very appreciative of the time he spent without annoying any other customers and got me on my way with great savings too. Thanks to ERIC and all at this store during a hectic and busy time of the year. Von’s will be my first choice of the many choices I have in my neighborhood.
